As planned already a while back, a few of my closer friends and fellow usability/user centered design/user interface design enthusiasts took a long weekend off and ventured to Rügen, the easternmost German island in the Baltic Sea. In addition to some touristy things, we actually spent a decent time working on new research areas and discussing our views on the world in general and the “U” topics specifically. The setting couldn’t have been better, with an old school house as our residence, and the beach coast in walking distance.
